THE WORLD’S COMMUNITY UNITES TO SAVE UGANDA CHILDREN
Among the most significant humanitarian efforts ever made by Rotary International “Our Hearts Are With Uganda” project stays separately due to the fact that in the framework of Gift of Life International programme international teams of doctors checked dozens of thousand children with born cardial problems in Uganda and 30 out of them in April-May 2009 were directed for operations to 25 hospitals in 13 countries.

WHEEL CHAIR BASKETBALL BLACK SEA ROTARY CUP
On June 5-7, 2009 WHEEL CHAIR BASKETBALL BLACK SEA ROTARY CUP (WCBBSRC) took place in Krayan Sport Complex.
The teams from Turkey, Moldava, Belorusssia and Ukraine (BC “Donbas” and Odessa-Basket”) came to take part.
The tournament planned to be regular.
The first part took place in 2007 in Chishineu and was organized by Moldova, Turkey and Romania Rotary Clubs.

Charity concert
On July 17, 2008 The Honoured Artist of Ukraine Alexander Zimbaluk (Ukraine), The People’s Artist of Ukraine Tatyana Anisimova (Ukraine), International Contest Prize-winner Vitaliy Biliy (Ukraine), International Contest Participant Eva Tonin (Canada) and the Conductor Igor Shevchuk gave the Charity Concert in Odessa Opera House.
Each of the participants is a master of its brilliant voice and irrespective their young age achieved the great success at the opera stage.

In the first days of September, 2007 Odessa celebrated its 213-th birthday. The most beautiful girl of the world in 2006, a charming blonde from Czech Republic Miss Tatjana Kucharova took part in the Day of the City celebrations. The blue-eyed beauty was accompanied with “Miss World” Organizing Committee President Mrs. Julia Morly (Great Britain), “Miss Ukraine” National Committee President Mrs. Lilia Kuznetzova and a team of managers and jornalists from different countries of the world.
